631.41 REQUIRING COURT ADMINISTRATOR TO DELIVER TRANSCRIPT OF MINUTES OF SENTENCE TO SHERIFF. When a person convicted of an offense is sentenced to pay a fine or costs or to be imprisoned in the county jail, or committed to the commissioner of corrections, the court administrator shall, as soon as possible, make out and deliver to the sheriff or a deputy a transcript from the minutes of the court of the conviction and sentence. A duly certified transcript is sufficient authority for the sheriff to execute the sentence. Upon receiving the transcript, the sheriff shall execute the sentence.
