92.18 DIVIDED CERTIFICATES. When the holder of a certificate surrenders it to the commissioner with a request to divide the land described in it, the commissioner may issue two or more certificates. No new certificate may be issued while any interest is delinquent or if the commissioner believes that the security of the state would be impaired or endangered. An applicant who requests a division by boundaries other than regular government or state subdivisions must file with the application a plat and survey showing the lines of, and the quantity of land in, each subdivision.
