92.30 STATE TO SELL CERTAIN LANDS. The department may sell any state-owned lands, including lands set apart as school forests or other state forests, lying within the general boundaries of the Superior National Forest and the Chippewa National Forest as the boundaries now exist or may hereafter be extended, to the United States to be included as a part of either of these forests. The lands must be designated by the Executive Council, upon the recommendation of the commissioner, for disposal to the United States for that purpose. The purchase price paid at the sale by the commissioner for the state may not exceed a maximum fixed by the Executive Council.
