93.27 ASSIGNMENTS, AGREEMENTS, OR CONTRACTS AFFECTING LEASES; FILING. All assignments, agreements, or contracts, underlying, overriding, or operating agreements affecting a lease shall be made in writing and signed by both parties thereto, witnessed by two witnesses, and properly acknowledged and contain the post office addresses of all parties having an interest; and when so executed presented in triplicate to the commissioner for filing of record. A certificate of filing showing the date of filing shall be endorsed on the assignments, agreements, contracts, underlying, overriding, or operating agreements, a copy of which then shall be returned to the party entitled thereto.
