Section 11-15-5 - Arbitrators to appoint time of meeting and notify parties

The arbitrators selected by agreement of the parties shall appoint a time and place for the hearing, and notify the parties thereof, and shall adjourn the hearing from time to time, as may be necessary, and on the application of either party, and for good cause may postpone the hearing to a time not extending beyond the day fixed in the submission, if a day be fixed, for rendering the award.Codes, 1892, § 97; 1906, § 98; Hemingway's 1917, § 85; 1930, § 83; 1942, § 281.
