Section 11-33-93 - Judgment in case debt not due

In determining the amount for which judgment shall be rendered on the merits in favor of plaintiff whose debt is not due, interest shall not be computed on the principal for a time beyond the rendition of the judgment; and if the debt do not bear interest until a future day, the principal shall be discounted for the time to elapse before interest begins, at the rate at which the debt will bear interest.
