Section 11-43-45 - Sheriff to attend trial

The sheriff, when required by the judge or chancellor, shall attend in person, or by deputy, upon the trial of a habeas corpus in his county, to keep order and execute the mandates of the judge or chancellor, and shall be subject to the orders of the judge or chancellor during the trial in vacation in the same manner as in term time.
