Section 11-45-23 - Property recovered delivered to agent

When the state or any county, shall recover property by suit, the possession of the property shall be delivered to such officer, agent or representative of the state or county as may be designated by proper authority to receive it, or having right to its custody for the state or county.Codes, 1880, § 898; 1892, § 4256; 1906, § 4808; Hemingway's 1917, § 3172; 1930, § 6006; 1942, § 4396.
