Section 11-53-23 - Costs on dismissal for want of jurisdiction

When a case shall be dismissed by any court for want of jurisdiction, judgment shall be rendered by such court for costs against the party who invoked the jurisdiction, as in other cases.Codes, 1880, § 2372; 1892, § 873; 1906, § 950; Hemingway's 1917, § 659; 1930, § 666; 1942, § 1577.
