Section 11-53-55 - Cases not expressly embraced by statute or Rule

If a case shall occur in any court not embraced expressly by statute, Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure or Mississippi Supreme Court Rules, the court may make such order for the payment of costs by any of the parties as, in its discretion, may be proper.Codes, 1880, § 2386; 1892, § 889; 1906, § 966; Hemingway's 1917, § 675; 1930, § 682; 1942, § 1593; Laws, 1993, ch. 452, § 2, eff.
