Section 13-3-171 - Lands to be sold to be offered in subdivisions and as an entirety

All lands comprising a single tract, sold under execution, shall be first offered in subdivisions not exceeding one hundred and sixty (160) acres, or one-quarter section, and then offered as an entirety, and the price bid for the latter shall control only when it shall exceed the aggregate of the bids for the same in subdivisions.Codes, 1892, § 3491; 1906, § 3989; Hemingway's 1917, § 2996; 1930, § 3042; 1942, § 1930; brought forward without change, Laws, 2011, ch. 418, § 9, eff. 7/1/2011.
