Newton County is bounded by beginning at the northwest corner of township eight, north, range ten, east; thence east on the township line to the line between ranges thirteen and fourteen, east; thence south on said range line to the line between townships four and five, north; thence west on said township line to the line between ranges nine and ten, east; thence north on said range line to the beginning.
