Simpson County is bounded by beginning on the line between townships two and three, north, where the same crosses Pearl River; thence east on said township line to its intersection with the old Choctaw boundary; thence south with said Choctaw boundary, and on the range line between ranges sixteen and seventeen, west, to the intersection of the Choctaw boundary line; thence westerly with said Choctaw boundary line to Pearl River; thence up said river, with its meanderings, to the beginning.
