Forrest County is bounded as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of township five, north, of range twelve, west, of St. Stephen's meridian, then run south along the line dividing ranges eleven and twelve to the southeast corner of township one, south, of range twelve, west; then run west along the line of Stone County to the southwest corner of township one, south, of range thirteen, west; then run north along the lines of Pearl River and Lamar Counties to the southeast corner of township five, north, of range fourteen, west; then run west along the line of Lamar County to the southwest corner of said last named township; then run north along the line of Lamar County to the northwest corner of said last named township; then run east along the lines of Covington and Jones Counties to the point of beginning.
