Section 19-3-65 - Membership in national and state organizations of governmental officials

The board of supervisors in each county is hereby authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to do all things and to perform all acts which may be necessary to join the National Association of County Officials and/or State and County Administrator Association.The board of supervisors in each county is hereby authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to pay from the county general fund the required fees and dues for membership in the National Association of County Officials and the Mississippi Association of Supervisors.Laws, 1976, ch. 384, eff. 4/27/1976.
