Section 19-3-71 - Appointment of county fire services coordinator

The board of supervisors in each county shall appoint a county fire services coordinator, and may compensate him from any available county funds, except insurance rebate monies from the County Volunteer Fire Department Fund. The county fire services coordinator shall demonstrate that he possesses fire-related knowledge and experience as well as meeting the guidelines established by the Commissioner of Insurance.
