The board of supervisors of such county or counties may purchase in the name of such county or counties such lands as may be necessary for such institution, or may use such lands available which already belong to the board of supervisors, and may have such buildings erected thereon and equipment installed therein as may be necessary, after advertising therefor as the law directs.Codes, 1942, § 2998.7-02; Laws, 1962, ch. 403, § 2, eff. 6/1/1962.
