Section 21-1-9 - Designation of municipalities

All municipalities operating under Chapter 99, Mississippi Code of 1906, and all municipalities operating under Title 21, Chapter 3, Mississippi Code of 1972, shall be designated as having 'Code Charters.' All municipalities operating under Title 21, Chapter 5, Mississippi Code of 1972, shall be designated as having 'Commission Form of Government.' All municipalities operating under Title 21, Chapter 7, Mississippi Code of 1972, shall be designated as having 'Council Form of Government.' All municipalities operating under Title 21, Chapter 9, Mississippi Code of 1972, shall be designated as having 'Council-Manager Form of Government.'
