In all matters involving the disability or sickness of a member of such fire and/or police department, such member shall submit himself to physical and mental examination when and as required by said disability and relief board of said governing authorities. A failure or refusal so to do shall suspend the benefits of Sections 21-29-133 and 21-29-135, until such time as he shall submit himself to such examination.Codes, 1942, § 3489; Laws, 1940, ch. 287.
