Section 21-31-15 - Qualifications of applicants seeking civil service position

All applicants for a position of any kind under civil service must be a citizen of the United States and an elector of the county in which he resides and must meet only such bona fide occupational residency requirements as may be determined by the municipal board of civil service commissions or the governing authority of the municipality.Codes, 1942, § 3825-09; Laws, 1944, ch. 208, § 8; Laws, 1979, ch. 322, eff. 3/1/1979.
