The compensation of the Deputy Commissioner of Insurance shall be fixed by the Commissioner of Insurance, subject to approval by the State Personnel Board, and shall be exempt from the provisions of Section 25-3-39. Laws, 2009, ch. 448, § 21, eff. 7/1/2009.
