Section 25-34-45 - Electronic database of notaries public

The Secretary of State must maintain an electronic database of notaries public:(a) Through which a person may verify the authority of a notary public to perform notarial acts; and(b) Which indicates whether a notary public has notified the Secretary of State that the notary public will be performing notarial acts on electronic records.Added by Laws, 2020, ch. 382, HB 1156,§ 23, eff. 7/1/2021.
