All county officials who receive funds under the authority of their office shall deposit such funds into a county depository. Any unidentifiable funds found by the county auditor or the State Auditor in the county depository shall be settled into the general fund of the county within thirty (30) days of the determination.Any funds settled into the general fund under the authority of this section which are later identified shall be properly disbursed by the chancery clerk after the approval of the board of supervisors.Laws, 1986, ch. 306, eff. 10/1/1986.
