§ 27-19-44-1

(1) Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, One Dollar ($1.00) of the additional fee for any distinctive or special tag that would otherwise be distributed to a nongovernmental organization or entity, shall be deposited to the credit of the special fund created in Section 27-19-44.2.(2) Subsection (1) of this section shall not apply to funds required to be deposited to the credit of the Mississippi Burn Care Fund created in Section 7-9-70.(3) Subsection (1) of this section shall not apply if a portion of the fee for any distinctive or special tag is required to be deposited to the credit of the fund created in Section 27-19-44.2 by the law authorizing the issuance of the distinctive or special tag.
