When requested by the commissioner, all transporters of gas out of, within, or across the State of Mississippi shall be required to furnish the commissioner such information relative to the transportation of such gas, as he may require.The commissioner shall have authority to inspect all meter and other charts, documents, books and records as may relate to the transportation of gas in the hands of each transporter herein referred to. The commissioner shall further be empowered to demand the production of such charts, documents, and books and records relating to the transportation of gas at any point in the State of Mississippi which he may designate.Codes, 1942, § 9417.5-07; Laws, 1948, ch. 447, § 7, eff. 7/1/1948.
