Section 27-7-501 - Declaration of purpose

The purpose of this article is to establish a policy and provide a system whereby claimant agencies of the State of Mississippi in conjunction with the State Tax Commission shall cooperate in identifying certain debtors who qualify for refunds from the State Tax Commission. It is the intent of the Legislature that this article be liberally construed so as to effectuate its purpose.Laws, 1985, ch. 364, § 1, eff. 7/1/1985.
