The board of supervisors of any county within the state having a population of more than two hundred thousand (200,000) according to the latest federal census, upon receipt of a resolution adopted by the county board of education of any such county requesting it so to do, is authorized and empowered to construct roads or streets upon any sixteenth section lands lying within the boundaries of any municipality in such county having a population of more than one hundred fifty thousand (150,000) according to the latest federal census.Laws, 1974, ch. 370, § 1, eff. 3/18/1974.
