The office of general services of the State of Mississippi is hereby authorized and empowered to act as the commission designated to perform all functions on behalf of the State of Mississippi as provided for and required in Public Law No. 88-204 of the 88th Congress of the United States of America and being entitled 'Higher Education Facilities Act of 1963' as thereafter amended, and the said office of general services is hereby granted such power and authority necessary for the purpose of performing for and on behalf of the State of Mississippi all things required to be done and performed by the office of general services as specified in said Public Law No. 88-204 of the 88th Congress of the United States government, as thereafter amended.Codes, 1942, § 9023-56; Laws, 1964, ch. 413; Laws, 1984, ch. 488, § 36, eff. 7/1/1984.
