Section 31-31-21 - Negotiability of bonds and interest coupons; compliance with Uniform Commercial Code

All bonds and interest coupons issued under the provisions of this chapter have all the qualities and incidents of negotiable instruments under the provisions of the Mississippi Uniform Commercial Code, and in exercising the powers granted by this chapter, the State Bond Commission shall not be required to and need not comply with the provisions of the Mississippi Uniform Commercial Code.Laws, 1995, ch. 628, § 11, eff. 7/1/1995 (became law without the Governor's signature).
