Any state agency, as defined in Section 31-7-1, Mississippi Code of 1972, shall be authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to enter into an energy performance contract, energy services contract, on a shared-savings, lease or lease-purchase basis, for energy efficiency services and/or equipment as provided for in Section 31-7-14.Laws, 1985, ch. 493, § 2, eff. 7/1/1985.Amended by Laws, 2014, ch. 481, SB 2521, 2, eff. 7/1/2014.
