Section 33-1-13 - Discrimination against uniform

Any proprietor, manager or employee of a theater, hotel, restaurant, or any other public place, who shall make or cause to be made any discrimination against any person lawfully wearing the uniform of the Armed Forces of the United States of America or of the State of Mississippi, because of the uniform worn, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00).Codes, 1942, § 8519-126; Laws, 1966, ch. 539, § 85, eff. 6/1/1966.
