Section 33-13-301 - Governor may prescribe rules

The pretrial, trial and post-trial procedures, including modes of proof, in cases before military courts and other military tribunals and courts of inquiry may be prescribed by the Governor by regulations which shall, so far as he considers practicable, apply the principles of law and the rules of evidence generally recognized in the trial of criminal cases in the courts of the State of Mississippi but which may not be contrary to or inconsistent with this code.Codes, 1942, § 8529-37; Laws, 1966, ch. 538, § 37; Laws, 1981, ch. 362, § 39, eff. 7/1/1981.
