Any person subject to this code who for the purpose of avoiding work, duty or service in the state military forces:(a) Feigns illness, physical disablement, mental lapse or derangement; or(b) Intentionally inflicts self-injury; shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.Codes, 1942, § 8529-109; Laws, 1966, ch. 538, § 109; Laws, 1981, ch. 362, § 84, eff. 7/1/1981.
