Section 33-9-21 - Purchase or receiving of military property a misdemeanor

If any person knowingly purchases or receives in pawn or pledge any military property of the state or of the United States he shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a period not exceeding one (1) year, or fined not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or to both such fine and imprisonment.Codes, 1942, § 8519-102; Laws, 1966, ch. 539, § 72, eff. 6/1/1966.
