Section 37-113-1 - Name

The name of the state institution of higher learning designated heretofore as Mississippi A & M College, and subsequently as Mississippi State College, is hereby changed to Mississippi State University of Agriculture and Applied Science, and wherever the term Mississippi A & M College or Mississippi State College appears in the laws of the State of Mississippi, the same shall be construed to refer to the Mississippi State University of Agriculture and Applied Science.Codes, 1942, § 6689; Laws, 1932, ch. 155; Laws, 1958, ch. 317.
