Section 37-113-5 - Appropriation for the support of the university

The interest arising from the proceeds of the fund known as the 'Agricultural Land Scrip Fund' is appropriated and devoted, to the extent of one-half of it, to the Mississippi State University of Agriculture and Applied Science, and may be drawn from the treasury, upon warrant of the auditor, to be issued upon the requisitions of the treasurer, from time to time, as such interest may accrue and be wanted for the use of the university.Codes, 1880, § 775; 1892, § 19; 1906, § 19; Hemingway's 1917, § 3387; 1930, § 7184; 1942, § 6691.
