Section 37-132-3 - Responsibility of cooperating teacher

It shall be the responsibility of a cooperating teacher, in conjunction with the principal or other administrator and the representative of the teacher preparation institution, to assign to the student teacher or intern responsibilities and duties that will provide adequate preparation for teaching. Student teaching may include duties granted to a certificated teacher under the rules and regulations of such board of education and any other part of the school program for which either the cooperating teacher or the principal is responsible.Laws, 1973, ch. 343, § 1(b), eff. 3/22/1973.
