The board of supervisors of any county wherein the control, operation and maintenance of the agricultural high school has been transferred to the county board of education under provisions of Section 37-29-272, is hereby authorized, in its discretion, upon request in writing of the board of trustees of the community college district in which such county is located, to levy on the taxable property in the county at the time the annual tax levy is made, a tax under Section 37-27-5 as is necessary for the retirement of debt service on bonds heretofore issued for the building, repair and equipment of such agricultural high school.Laws, 1994, ch. 581, § 51, eff. 7/1/1994.
