When a student has successfully completed the course prescribed for the freshman and sophomore years, any junior college which has been properly accredited may issue a diploma to such student, bearing the title of AN ASSOCIATE OF ARTS, AN ASSOCIATE OF AGRICULTURE, or any other appropriate title as testimonial of the completion of two years of college work.Codes, 1930, § 6696; 1942, § 6475-09; Laws, 1928, ch. 303; Laws, 1930, ch. 278; Laws, 1950, ch. 369, § 9.
