Section 37-29-163 - Declaration of intent

It is hereby declared to be the intent of the legislature that those funds appropriated to the state building commission for the junior college vocational and technical training fund shall be expended to expand immediately and improve existing programs, to institute new programs and to provide adequate equipment and facilities for existing and new programs for vocational and technical training individually or collectively within the public junior colleges of the state. The legislature further declares its intent to be that the presently existing physical facilities of the junior colleges shall be utilized in the development and implementation of such vocational and technical training programs where possible.Codes, 1942, § 6475-33; Laws, 1964, ch. 401, § 3, eff. 3/26/1964.
