Section 37-29-165 - Junior college vocational and technical training fund; expenditures from fund

There is hereby created within the state building commission a fund for the stimulation of the vocational and technical training programs of the junior colleges of the State of Mississippi. All sums of money received by the state building commission to carry out the provisions of the Mississippi Junior College Vocational and Technical Training Law of 1964 shall be maintained in the state treasury and shall constitute a fund to be known as the 'junior college vocational and technical training fund'. All expenditures therefrom shall be authorized by the State Building Commission in the manner set forth in Section 37-29-171. Such expenditures shall be paid therefrom by the state treasurer on warrants issued by the auditor of public accounts. Said auditor shall issue his warrant upon requisition signed by the chairman and secretary of said commission.Codes, 1942, § 6475-32; Laws, 1964, ch. 401, § 2, eff. 3/26/1964.
