The state board of education shall cooperate with medical, health, nursing and welfare groups and organizations and with any other agencies in the state charged with administering state laws providing for vocational rehabilitation of physically handicapped children. Said state board is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to cooperate with the federal government in such manner as to obtain the benefits of the provisions of the federal social security act pertaining to crippled children.Codes, 1942, § 6500; Laws, 1936, ch. 290.
