The State Department of Rehabilitation Services, through the Office of Disability Determination Services, may enter into agreements with the federal Social Security Administration or its successor and other state agencies for the purpose of performing eligibility determinations for Medicaid assistance payments for those persons who qualify therefor under Section 43-13-115(4), and may adopt such methods of administration as may be necessary to secure the full benefits of federal appropriations for medical assistance for such persons.Laws, 1983, ch. 521, § 22; Laws, 1989, ch. 544, § 86; Laws, 1991, ch. 608, § 25, eff. 7/1/1991 (became law without the Governor's signature).
