The State Treasurer is designated as the custodian of all funds received by the state from appropriations made by the Congress of the United States, or from other sources for the purpose of carrying out any state or federal statutes pertaining to vocational rehabilitation services for individuals who are blind. The State Treasurer is authorized to receive and provide for the proper custody of those funds, establish such special funds and accounts as may be necessary, and shall make disbursements from those funds and accounts for vocational rehabilitation purposes upon requisition by the executive director and upon the issuance of warrants by the State Fiscal Officer.Codes, 1942, § 6508.5-06; Laws, 1948, ch. 303, § 6; Laws, 1975, ch. 434, § 9; Laws, 1989, ch. 544, § 97, eff. 7/1/1989; Laws, 2002, ch. 463, § 22, eff. 7/1/2002.
