Any funds that may be appropriated by the State Legislature for the purpose of carrying out a program of adult education may be used to supplement local funds or to meet the minimum requirements of the federal government for a program of adult education in the state, provided such program is conducted under the rules and regulations established by the Mississippi Community College Board.Codes, 1942, § 6240; Laws, 1940, ch. 177; Laws, 1960, ch. 293; Laws, 1992, ch. 538, § 3, eff. 7/1/1992.Amended by Laws, 2014, ch. 397, HB 460, 35, eff. 7/1/2014.
