Section 37-43-45 - Suits for recovery of losses

Any loss occasioned by the neglect, carelessness or failure of duty by the county superintendent or any principal or teacher in charge of any school, shall entitle the state to bring suit for the recovery of the amount of the loss or losses occasioned thereby.Any writ or suit of any nature instituted under the provisions of this chapter shall be brought in the name of the State of Mississippi by the Attorney General.
