The commission shall distribute and disburse, subject to the provisions of law, such funds as may be appropriated by the legislature, and such funds as may otherwise become available, for constructing, improving, equipping, renovating, and repairing school buildings or other school facilities, as authorized and directed by chapter 47 of this title. No funds shall be distributed by said commission to any school district operating a school in the State of Mississippi until such school district shall have conclusively shown that it has complied with all the requirements of the laws of the State of Mississippi for the operation of schools or school districts, and until such school district shall have complied with all the applicable regulations of the commission.Codes, 1942, § 6246-08; Laws, 1953, Ex Sess, ch. 11, § 8.
