Section 37-45-53 - Appeal bonds

The beneficiary in all appeal bonds shall be the State of Mississippi. Said bonds shall secure the payment of the cost accruing in the proceeding, including the cost of appeal and the performance of any other acts required by the chancellor in granting of supersedeas appeal from any final rule, regulation or order of the commission.Codes, 1942, § 6246-29; Laws, 1955, Ex Sess, ch. 58, § 9.
