Section 37-45-61 - Appeals to supreme court

From an adverse decision of the chancery court, either party may appeal to the supreme court of the State of Mississippi. Said appeal shall be taken and perfected within thirty days and in the same manner provided by law for other appeals to the supreme court from the judgments of chancery courts, and upon appeal to the supreme court, the same shall be heard and disposed of as a preference cause as promptly and as expeditiously as the circumstances will permit.Codes, 1942, § 6246-12; Laws, 1953, Ex Sess, ch. 11, § 12.
