Section 37-65-17 - Period of closure shall not be deducted from time earned toward certification

Should any school, junior college or institution of higher learning be closed in accordance with the terms of this article, such period of closure shall not be subtracted from the period of time which would otherwise be earned by any superintendent, principal, teacher or other employee employed to render services in and about the conduct and operation of any such school, junior college or institution of higher learning, as to any certification to which such person might otherwise be entitled.Codes, 1942, § 6232-28; Laws, 1958, ch. 311, § 8, eff. 5/6/1958.
